I heard this song on someone's mix cd where I work, and i couldn't ID it.
It sounded like indie or alternative rock perhaps, it was a male voice, and i'm pretty sure a brittish accent. Also, i assume it's a newer song.

i definately remember "summer has come and summer has gone" ( may not be a direct quote)

and something like

"i can't fall asleep until your...." (sounds like the next word is mystery)

also, i coulda sworn i heard the word christmas too, but it was really early.

any ideas, i appreciate it!

i heard this song in tijuana flatts today (and have heard it before) and tired putting the remaining lyrics that i heard in my phone to look up for later. i came home and searched "summer has come and summer has gone" and saw this and realized we were ineed of the same song. the "indie" song....
i searched for a VERY long time with no luck at all, but then after an hour i searched "summer has gone i cant fall asleep until your lyrics" and boom all this information came up on matt costa cold december!
