Classical Arabic (Standard Arabic) simply states that Donya = World, and I gave you proof that the Turkish took it from the Arabic as "Dünya" to mean world too, (s)he might have a certain point of view.

They might use it in Libya to refer to life, but it's not used like that in Arabic usually, Arabic can be very tricky.

I checked the song and the phrase "Tamaly alaya men badlak." doesn't exist
the right one would be "Tamaly aynya tendahlk"=my eyes always call you

I first came to the forum to find a french translation..but i thought i could try helping with arabic translation
this is my first ..so I'd be more than glad to recieve your comments and corrections

this song has many expressions that are not going to be right if translated Literally..but i tried as much as i could to get the right meaning

Expressions like "Inshalah"= God's will , in classic arabic
but here it's more like: so what?let me fall in love

"Shareeky" is from the verb "yashtry"=buy...but here it means i want you

"Yalla" also confused me..i couldn't find an accurte translation for it..but i think "let me" would do good here
