A Sad Motive By Spring Waltz

It's Perfect For A Funeral, I Dunno You But There's No Harm Is Giving My Condolences To Whoever Has Passed Away, They'll Be In A Better Place, Im Sure You Know That, Take It Easy.

    Ja Ne

Actually It's Extremely Sad, But I Think It's Suitable, Instrumental Though.

    Ja Ne Again.

& It Has A Serene Kind Of Tinge To It, You'll Love It, Sorry It's Just Such A Beautiful Song

Brahms' Requiem (German Requiem). It's not morbid but uplifting.

What about Enya- If I Could Be Where You Are.

I had to make a video for a funeral before...and I find that jolly songs help a bit. Dosn't make people too depressed. I have used: "Don't Worry Be Happy" and also Boyzone "Picture of You". (Just an idea).

Thats terrible!!! A funeral song should be soft I believe, beautiful. I don't think MCR or any metal/rock go for that.
At a friend's funeral, me and her brother sang 'Ill be missing you'. It might be a rap song but it fitted so well.

I dont think a funeral should be sad.... i think the music should reflect the person and how they were in life.

I'm not a sad and crying kinda person......

I want people to remember me as who i was, not as some sad song played at my funeral.....

I've lived life to the most that i possibly can and when I die it will be because there was nothing left for me to do on earth....

After all What is death but the next great adventure?

When my grandma & my cousin (who was only 28) passed away in the same year there were a couple of songs that helped me get through it:

    Run by Snow Patrol

I'll sing it one last time for you
Then we really have to go
You've been the only thing that's right
    In all I've done
And I can barely look at you
But every single time I do
I know we'll make it anywhere
    Away from here
    Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear
    Louder, louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say
To think I might not see those eyes
Makes it so hard not to cry
And as we say our long goodbye
    I nearly do
    Light up, Light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear
    Slower slower
We don't have time for that
All I want is to find an easier way
To get out of our little heads
    Have heart my dear
    We're bound to be afraid
Even if it's just for a few days
Making up for all this mess

Seize the Day by Avenged Sevenfold (touching & slow)

Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost
It's empty and cold without you here, too many people to ache over
I see my vision burn, I feel my memories fade with time
But I'm too young to worry
These streets we traveled on will undergo our same lost past
I found you here, now please just stay for a while
I can move on with you around
I hand you my mortal life, but will it be forever?
I'd do anything for a smile, holding you 'til our time is done
We both know the day will come, but I don't want to leave you
I see my vision burn, I feel my memories fade with time
But I'm too young to worry
(A melody, a memory, or just one picture)
Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost
It's empty and cold without you here, too many people to ache over
Newborn life replacing all of us, changing this fable we live in
No longer needed here so where do we go?
Will you take a journey tonight, follow me past the walls of death?
But girl, what if there is no eternal life?
I see my vision burn, I feel my memories fade with time
But I'm too young to worry
(A melody, a memory, or just one picture)
Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost
It's empty and cold without you here, too many people to ache over
Trials in life, questions of us existing here
Don't wanna die alone without you here
Please tell me what we have is real
So what if I never hold you, yeah, or kiss your lips again? Whooooah
So I never want to leave you and the memories of us to see
    I beg don't leave me
Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost
It's empty and cold without you here, too many people to ache over
Trials in life, questions of us existing here
Don't wanna die alone without you here
Please tell me what we have is real
(Silence, you lost me-- no chance for one more day)
(Silence, you lost me-- no chance for one more day)
    I stand here alone
Falling away from you, no chance to get back home

Fade Into You by Mazzy Star

I want to hold the hand inside you
I want to take a breath that's true
I look to you and I see nothing
I look to you to see the truth
    You live your life
    You go in shadows
You'll come apart and you'll go blind
Some kind of light into your darkness
Colors your eyes with what's not there.
    Fade into you
    Strange you never knew
    Fade into you
I think it's strange you never knew
A stranger's light comes on slowly
    A stranger's heart without a home
You put your hands into your head
And then smiles cover your heart
    Fade into you
    Strange you never knew
    Fade into you
I think it's strange you never knew
    Fade into you
    Strange you never knew
    Fade into you
I think it's strange you never knew
I think it's strange you never knew

And finally there's a soft emotional instrumental by Joe Satriani called "Always With Me, Always With You" that would be perfect for a DVD.
