Default Busting in cybersport: do professionals use third-party help?

Has anyone wondered how common it is for professional cyber athletes to resort to booing? I've heard that it can be common among players, but there is little official data. What consequences can a professional expect if caught using such services?

Last year I aspired to join a semi-professional League of Legends team, but my rank left a lot to be desired. I decided to use https://www.timesaver.gg/, as they offered secure booing without transferring account data. They would simply invite me to the game and we would raise my rank together. This helped me reach my desired rank and get the attention of the team. I realize now that it was risky, but at the time it seemed like the only way to realize a dream.

Personally, I think that the use of booing among professionals undermines the credibility of cybersports. If a player can't reach a certain level on his own, is it worth it for him to compete at that level? Besides, if information about booing gets out, it can lead to disqualification and a ruined reputation. It is better to work honestly on your skills than to risk your career for a quick result.
