Talking "La Nina de tus ojos" translated in English

I noticed that some of you wanted the English version of "la nina de tus ojos" , so here it is:

The Daughter of Your Eyes (la nina de tus ojos)

You saw me when no one else saw me.
You loved me when no one else loved me.(x2)

You gave me a name. I am your daughter.
    The daugher of your eyes,
    Because you loved me (x2)
(After doing that section twice, repeat "Because you loved me" over and over)

    Chorus:
I love you more than my life (x3)

I wish someone would explain the song to me.
I go to a Spanish church, but I'm just started to learn Spanish (long story),
and we sang the song but I don't understand how it is a praise and worship song.

I think I figured it out in English we say the apple of my eye.
In spanish it is la niña de mi ojo. See Deuteronomy 32:10

    You, sir, are correct.

Love this song [In Spanish... Don't know how it'd sound in English]

By nina they actually mean pupil. The song is saying that we are the pupil of God's eyes because he saw us when no one else did. this is a beautiful song. One of my favorites!
