Are you asking for songs that fit that category or for someone to WRITE you a song like that?? If you're just looking for songs then try looking up or buying the MONSTER BALLADS compilation CD's. It's nothing but rock ballads, some about love, some about love lost. Mostly good songs, but also mostly OLD songs...

the song "this ain't a love song" is a nice rock ballad..
or the song "the last drop falls" by sonata arctica.. its a great love ballad
