Im A Newbie On The Board.....

Why Are There Numbers Throughout The Words Of Arabic. Im Confused. I Know Its Not Like That In Written Arabic So Why Is It Written Like That In Translation To English.




Ps- So All Know, I Only Write In Caps Because Its Easier For Me, Im Not Yelling! Lol!!!

And not all the letters are caps only those with which words begin.

there are some letters that are not in the normal english alphabet such as the letter خ it is prounounced KH in english but we give it the number 5 because it looks like it abit and other letters

it would be easier for us to read the arabic in the english letters

if you write the word: haleeb
maybe some body will not understand it easily

but if you make it 7ALEEB then we can easily know it's MILK
because H in HALEEB is not realy H but it's an arabic letter which is not there in the english language


7 = H = ح
3 = A = ع
3' = GH = غ
5 = KH = خ
6 = T = ط
6' = TH = ظ
9 = S = ص
9' = D = ض
2 = A = ء
