    Hey =)
    My mother tongue is German, I also speak English and French fluently and my Spanish is okay too (I hope ). I understand some Italian and Dutch too but I really want to get better at it! Feel free to send me private messages for a little exchange.

    Sounds better if you put the "nicht" elsewhere: "Ich spreche nicht Deutsch"
    My turkish is very poor though...some words I can say goodbye which should be "gülle gülle" or something like that?! And "lan" might be something like boy or man (to adress someone)? The guys always put that at the end of their phrases "blalbalba..., lan!" *g*

    euheuheuhe, actually i wrote like u said first, but then i changed!! pitty on me...

    it's güle güle, with one l... and lan is not a formal thing, just between good friends... otherwise it is like a swear so u should be careful using it... if you say "ne diyosun len" (what (the hell) are u telling) it might be a start for a fight

    okaaaaay, thanks for telling me...maybe you saved my life
    i remembered another one..."shüküdüm" or something like that (probably this is totally wrong ^^). it was a super-popular tarkan song and i always wondered what it means. maybe it's kiss (because he makes the sound of kissing in the song)?!

    euheuehueh, you want to mean şıkıdım... it's just the sound coming from little bells or sth else when you are bellydancing... he says "oynama şıkıdım şıkıdım" don't dance (play) şıkıdım şıkıdım, so don't dance making that sounds...

    it's weird...if i try asking turks in germany about their language they hardly ever wanna answer. they always think the germans want to mock them ^^ but i'm really interested! did you know that german teachers and policemen participate in a course to learn the basics in turkish as a part of their training? pity i decided not to become a teacher

    It happens always with people abroad, that do not originate from there. Just don't push them. Try first to be their friend and then ask them all the questions. I assure you you will make them feel more comfortable.

    What??!!I wasn't doing anything wrong.And I'm getting along with Croatian_babe,why are you then making a problem?I am simply defending my own language,I am NOT here to argue,and I am DEFINITELY NOT here to bring my hates...

    Re Alp, re Alp, don't stay in the words, but look beyond them. With "I should, I should" Angeliki was joking. And btw she has every right to believe that her language is the most beautiful, I believe the same for mine. Is that bad? Angeliki has good relationship with Croatian_babe, so what's your problem anyway?
