i was wondering since i know spanish ans in spanish there are spanish-english terms so are there french-english terms that came about through migrations to the united states or something

Oh yes many original French words are still used in American English due to many French immigration waves, mainly at the LaFayette time.
The most common original French words are culinary terms (café, restaurant, soup, paté, marmelade, basin...) Bra comes from French "brassière"... other French words in the fashion or art: Negligee, cliché, déjà-vu...
the funniest transformation is for barbecue that comes from "barbe au cul" (from beard to ***) describing the way bucaners use to put goats on a spit before grilling them over the fire.

don't know in USA but in England we still use "bureau de change" exactly as in French.

I think that nowadays French has no influence over English and the rare French artists known in USA (daft Punk, Bob Sinclar, David Guetta, Air...) sing in English.
