Thanks! I like this song, but I had only the turkish part. It was impossible for me to find the part of Haroula.

Me to idio vima tha giriso
I’ll return with the same step
    Me ekino pou eftana sihna
With that which I was arriving often
Stin poli afti pou tora xana pao piso, pouthena
In this city where now i’m going back again, nowhere
    Ton idio dromo tha giriso
I’ll return from the same street
Monahi opos girnai ki I gi
Alone as the earth turns too
Grammes tholes ki I rodes treles
Turbid lines and the wheels (are) crazy
    Ki olo piso pao, les
And you say that I always go back
    Krivi gkremous m’ akous
It hides cliffs, do you hear me
    Panta tou erota I strofi
Always the turn of the love
    Ah, apiastos sfigmos ke katastrofi
Ah, elusive the pulse and disaster
    Osi agapoun, m’ akous
All who love, do you hear me
    Mira tou erota, strofi
    Destiny of love, turn
Ah, afti na poun mia katastrofi
Ah, them to say a disaster
Ah, den ofeli na ‘rthi I anatoli
Ah, it doesn’t profit to come the sunrise
I have to go before, before i desire you much more
Ah, kardia ftohi stin agkalia tou htes
Ah, poor heart in the embrace of yesterday
Emiaza me vrohi ke m’ epine oli I gi
I looked like rain and all the ground (earth) was drinking me
Ah, den ofeli na ‘rthi I anatoli
Ah, it doesn’t profit to come the sunrise

of course my sweet and quick maria! you just want, I do it. here it is:
GİDİYORUM BU ŞEHİRDEN (I'M GOING FROM THIS CITY)

    gidiyorum yine bu şehirden
(I'm going from this city again)
    Ayaklarım geri geri...
    (My feet are behind*)
    Tekerlekler almış başını
    (wheels are rampant)
    dönüyor dönüyor...
    (turning turning...)
sanki bütün büyük aşkların ortak kaderi
(Like the common fortune of all the great loves)
ah beni en çok bu kahrediyor
(ah this inwardly grieves me deeply most)

    ah** beni beni
    (ah me me)
    vah beni beni
    (vah** me me)
    nerelere gideyim, nasıl edeyim
(where shall I go, how shall I do)
    al beni beni
    (take me me)
    sar beni beni
    (embrace me me)
    saramazsan eğer körfeze bırak
(if you cannot embrace, leave (me) to the gulf)
    gurub ile söneyim...
(Let me fade by the sunset...)

    *means to go reluctantly
**these are some of the exclamations that expresses pity in turkish

I'm very glad to translate this song. I think it's one of the most special duets and songs. I love it so much...

Gidiyorum Bu Şehirden – ΜΕ ΤΟ ΙΔΙΟ ΒΗΜΑ ΘΑ ΓΥΡΙΣΩ (Me To Idio Vima Tha Giriso)

(this song is from Deliveren album by Sezen aksu and from PERAKSENO FOS album by Haris Alexiou; i think it is so much better in Haris Alexiou's album version)

(i m giving the lyrics suitable for TURKS AND GREEKS to understand at all)

ingilizceye çeviren arkadaşlara da tşk ler
thx to friends who translated to english

Gidiyorum Bu Şehirden – ΜΕ ΤΟ ΙΔΙΟ ΒΗΜΑ ΘΑ ΓΥΡΙΣΩ (Me To Idio Vima Tha Giriso) ::

    Gidiyorum yine bu sehirden
    Ayaklarim geri geri
    Tekerlekler almis basini
    Donuyor donuyor

    (ayni adimla dönecegim geri
    sik sik gittigim o yere
    işte bu şehire, simdi tekrar
    geri döndügüm, hic bir yere)

    (ayni yoldan dönecegim
dünya nasil dönüyorsa, ben de tek basima
    bulanik cizgileden
    ve tekerlekler deli gibi
öyle dönüyorlar ki sanirsin geri geri gidiyorum)

Sanki butun buyuk asklarin ortak kaderi
Ah beni en cok bu kahrediyor

    Κρύβει γκρεμούς, μ' ακούς ;
    πάντα του έρωτα η στροφή
    άπιαστους σφυγμούς
    και καταστροφή
    (yikintilari gizliyor beni duyuyor musun?
    askin ve dönüsün bütün yikintilarini
    elle tutulamayan kalp atislarini
    ve yikimi)

    Ah beni beni
    Vah beni beni
    Nerelere gideyim, nasil edeyim
    Al beni beni
    Sar beni beni
    Saramazsan eger korfeze birak
    Gurup ile soneyim
(Αχ!

    (ah faydasi yok
    safagin sökmesinin
    gitmeliyim seni daha fazla istemeden)

    (ah garip kalbim
    dünün kucaginda yagan
    bir yagmura benzedi
    ve beni iciyor bütün yeryüz&#252
