    Default Country - Last Request

I don't know if that's the name or not, but it seems like it would be the likely name. However, every time I try to find this song, I have absolutely no luck, so I figured someone has got to know the song. I don't know who sings it and I don't know if that is actually the name, but I have the lyrics.

I almost thought it was Blake Shelton from the sound of the singer's voice, but I found no matches to the name or the singer or any of that, so, well... yeah. At any rate, it's driving me crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Here are the lyrics:

Hello Mister D.J., No, I don't listen to you much,
But there's someone I'm trying to reach who does.
No, I don't know the mystery question,
I'm not too good at games,
But there's this song I sure need you to play.

I don't know who the singers are,
I just saw them on T.V.,
Singing something about a broken heart,
And a fool down on his knees.
If you mention my name out over the air,
It just might be what she needs to hear.
    If that don't work, I don't know what's next.
This may be my last request.

She says there's a message in this music you play,
I guess I should have listened before today,
Cause living this life without her is something I just can't do,
I've tried everything, so I'm leaving it up to the good Lord
    And you.

I don't know who the singers are,
I just saw them on T.V.,
Singing something about a broken heart,
And a fool down on his knees.
If you mention my name out over the air,
It just might be what she needs to hear.
    If that don't work, I don't know what's next.
This may be my last request.

It's called "Last Request" by Frazier River (1996)
The following link is the only place I could find the lyrics.
