    I have some questions...

1- With words such as опасен and чудесен, when does it become опасно/а and чудесно/а? Like, when do I use opasen and when opasno?
2- How do you say would, won't, wouldn't, ect...?
3- For "if", when do you use "ako.." and when "da.."

    Hmm.. is all for now!
    Many thanks in advance x

I'll try too explain as good as I can

    1. It becomes опасно/а, чудесно/а, when you change the gender. In bulgarian anguage there are 3 of them
    - Masculine / Мъжки
    - Feminine / Женски
    - Neuter / Среден
So you'll say опасен when you talk for a guy, опасна, when you talk for a girl, and опасно when you talk about child.
    For example:
This man is dangerous. / Този мъж е опасен. (Masculine)
This woman is dangerous. / Тази жена е опасна. (Feminine)
This child is dangerous. / Това дете е опасно. (Neuter)
You can also use the genders talking about a diffrent objects.
    For example:
This cell - phone is new. / Този телефон е нов. (Masculine)
This painting is wonderful. / Тази картина е чудесна. (Feminine)
This bike is fast. / Това колело в бързо. (Neuter)

    2. Would means бих. You can use it in centences desire something.
    For example:
I would like a cup of cofee. / Бих искал чаша кафе.
Wouldn't means Не бих. It's used in sentences in which you are disagree to do a various action.
    For example:
I wouldn't hurt you. / Не бих те наранил.

    3. There are various ocasions to use if (ако). Mostly it's used in sentences made from one man to provocate another man to do something:
    For example:
If you buy me that shirt, I'll give you my tickets for the concrt tonight. / Ако ми купиш тази риза, ще ти дам билетите ми за концерта довечера.

I hope you get it. If there are some other questions be free to ask.

Okey.. I understand.. Is won't same as wouldn't? So I won't hurt you also 'ne bih te naranil'..?

Ahh this raises one more question.. I notice you say 'Iskal' rather than 'Iskam' and 'Naranil'. Why..? (= haha.. hope is not too much trouble!
    Many thanks x

    Hi,
    No won't isn't the same as wouldn't.

You'll say won't in this occasion:
I won't hurt you / Няма да те нараня /Nqma da te naranq.

    And you'll use wouldn't here:
I wouldn't hurt you / Не бих те наранил / Ne bih te naranil

It's a bit difficult to understand sometimes but when you get used with it you'll do it without paying so much attention

    Well,
I'll write you the conjugation of that verb искам / iskam / want, so u can understand it better

    Present tense (Искам / Iskam)

Аз искам / Az iskam / I want
Ти искаш / Ti iskash / You want
Той, Тя, To иска / Toj, Tq, To iska / He, She, It wants
Ние искаме / Nie iskame / We want
Вие искате / Wie iskate / You want
Те искат / Te iskat / They want

    Past tense (Искам / Iskam)

Аз исках / Az iskah / I wanted
Ти искашe / Ti iskashe / You wanted
Той, Тя, To искаше / Toj, Tq, To iskashe / He, She, It wanted
Ние искахме / Nie iskahme / We wanted
Вие искахте / Wie iskahte / You wanted
Те искаха / Te iskaha / They wanted

The form that you're asking for (Искал / Iskal) is in Conditional perfect I think. If you don't understand something fell free to ask.

Ahh you say "wie" not "vie" too! Are you german? I'm from Switzerland (=

Ah,, so by the way.. I don't want to sound stupid, but what means "conditional perfect"? I don't know the proper English names for the tenses and these meanings..

I would love to be, , but I'm from Bulgaria.

    About the tense...

    Use

We use it for something that might have happened in the past.

We use it in the main clause in type III of the if clauses.
    Form

would + have + past participle

past participle -> (infinitive + -ed) or (3rd column of the table of the irregular verbs)
    Example

I would have phoned you if you hadn't switched your mobile off.
