I need help with some translations please (in Cyrillic).


1a. Did you get a letter from the courier service ?

1b. Have you received a letter from the courier service ?

2. Your card will be delivered at home on the 9th. or 10th. July between 9am and 6pm.

3. You will need to show a form of ID such as your passport or UK Driving Licence when you sign for the delivery.

4a. I can call the courier service for you to ask when your item will be delivered.

4b. Let me call the courier service to arrange for a delivery date and time.

5. Will you be at home all day tomorrow?

6. If you won't be at home, leave your passport or driving licence with me so that I can sign for the delivery on your behalf.

3.Ще трябва да покажете самоличност като лична карта (паспорт) или шофьорска книжка, когато подпишете доставката.
4a.Мога да звънна в куриерската фирма да попитам кога вашия артикул ще бъде доставен.
4b.Позволете ми да звънна на куриерската фирма да уговорим датата и часа на доставката.

Hi guys,

How would you reply in Bulgarian (in Cyrillic) to decline an invitation (e.g. an invitation by friends asking to join them and have a drink)?

In English, we would say something along those lines :
- Sorry, I can't tonight ... I've got things to do .... I'm busy
- I'm not at home right now ... May be later I'll join you later (or next time).

it isn't literal at all, sorry.Just it can't sound good in Bulgarian literally translated.For example clouded in Bulgarian is "zaoblacheno" but it sounds pretty weird and it isn't poetic. I doubt it's the best possible translation but I gave my best to sound so-so good

* note : проницателен will be if it's for a male; проницателна is for a female

I understand it's difficult to translate a poem in a different language. Very often, in a poem, the meaning of the words are in a figurative sense. And a literal translation would certainly impoverish its authenticity.

I'm pretty sure you've figured out the meaning of the English sentences therein and you've translated them to the best of your abilities so that they sound poetic in Bulgarian too while keeping a certain degree of abstractness.

you know sumthing i really dont get verb endings, are they different for all verbs and you just have to learn them...or.. is there a pattern?

yeah, like sarah i also speak spanish but i love bulgarian just sometimes when is written by the original way i cant read it.. just translated or the way is pronounce..i guess.
