Hi, will somebody help me? A have difficulties with understanding a song by Toinho de Alagoas "Peça licença p'ra falar de Alagoas". It is probably northern Brasilian dialect. Is there somebody to know Brazilian well enough to write down it's words?

Brazil has a lot of very good singers.
Many people say Elis Regina is historically the best.
I like Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil very much.
Among the popular ones, Ivete Sangalo has as strong personality.
Babado Novo exist no longer! But the singer Claudia Leitte is already singing!
skank is really spectacullar. Also quite genuine brazilian rock!

It is very difficult to understand, because this song use many regional slangs.
For instance, "colonel" is a title to a rich man, usually a farmer, with a good influence in politics in a city. It was more common during the past century, but still today we call a friend "colonel" to express with humour our respect.
