    Yes you're right. We pronounce it mb, Lambros. In contrary, the word μπαμπάς we pronounce it babas. I think that I said something about that in the Greek Grammar thread...

    Btw,does Lambros has any meaning?(like angeliki is formed of angelos)

    I have two friends from Greece called Λαμπρος

    ..and I some dictionary I have lampros is grand, glistening..but I don't believe that dictionary too much

    the dictionary is half right but the word you refferred is λαμπρός, not the name Λάμπρος .
    The name has to do with Easter (Sunday of Easter), in Greek we call the Sunday of Easter(Πάσχα) and also Lampri(Λαμπρή), and that's where the name comes.
    Lampri is the day that is grand, glorious

    Of course you have! I think that Angelos and Angeliki celebrate on 8 of November with Michalis, Michaela, Gavriil, Gavriela.
