Thank U very much..U r kind as well

I asked about the fat lady because in that song in one part some girl is dancing and I think others are dancing too

How can U sing? hehe..even though if U try dear, we wouldn't be able to hear U pity...I was joking while saying U to sing literallyI meant maybe U have remembered some part, some words, from the refrain maybe, so to be more easier. I really wanna know which song is this... I like to investigate, and I like the challenge, hehe...xxx

My youth, forest - my sister,
    It's not coming back.
Very interesting! I havent heard this song before but my favourite song from a somewhat different region in Bulgaria (to the north of Pirin Macedonia) with a quite diffirent singing style, has a very similar to the last two couplets!
I even happen to have a translation of it! I will post it in a new thread.

    Zdravo Spring!
This video is obviously some american clip, but the song is almost certainly arranged/performed by serbians! I think I can feel some typical serbian accent in the pronunciation (do they sing in macedonian or serbian actually?)
and also this specific type of interpretation of folklore songs is very common in Serbia!
Check out, for example, soundtrack of Zona Zamfirova, or Sanja Ilic & Balkanika or CD called "Serbian Sounds Global".

I love it, i think it really opens up the beauty of melody that our folkloric songs here on the Balkans-to-Persia route are unmatched for! Unfortunately bulgarian composers have mostly turned to academic-type interpretations (Le Mystčre des Voix Bulgares, Bulgarian State Female Choir) which might be impressive for the experts, but not so moving to the common listener.

Well this is one of the most popular Macedonian old folk songs As I once said, some of these songs including "Jovano, Jovanko" that was translated as well, are sang in other countries too, usually the neighbour ones, and mainly sang on Macedonian, from non-Macedonians or sang on the native language of the artist with some versifications So, maybe the song U like it has taken something from this one, and because of that are perhaps similar.. Greetings, xxx

In this case is probably the opposite because "zhalna mi goro" is sung in a really old-time authentic style. it was recorded in 1960s from a local village woman. While "Zajdi, zajdi" has the typical macedonian shlager style that became so popular much later - at the end of 19th century.

With some googling I found here the text of yet another variant of the song! Unfortunately it doesnt say where it was recorded. This is from 1960s encyclopedia of folkloric songs in 13 books.

probably because it is folk one and not so popular as the rest we discussed here..:S I promised U and I keep my word, I'm still trying trust me..I haven't forgot..as soon as I get it..U will have it Sooner or later I will inform U..
And about the other songs...U must tell me what kind of songs U prefer..pop probably..As u remember I sent U some artists, I may offer some songs as well, but I'm not sure U will like them.So tell me UR type slower faster..love ones?.. and we can pick up something...Greetings, xxx

If "Zajdi, zajdi" it's from the end of the 19th century it means it is older recorded much earlier not later...
Anyway, I don't know the right
date, but I'm sure it is quite old and it is for sure original one. If it wasn't it wouldn't have been
so popular, not just here but also among many other countries...The song speaks for itself
And versifications or as U said variants from others or just taking some parts are often so I'm not surprised... And it is nothing abnormal...
Anyway it is an old original Macedonian song
and nobody can deny it..we can't discuss too professional as well, because we aren't well informed to do such criticism..
I'm sure the song U like it is
also nice and it can be similar..we r similar countries by the way
    Take care
