Notes:

*carolls are the traditional Christmas songs. In Romanian there is also a verb which means "to sing carolls"-- a colinda which also refers to the custom itself of going from house to house to sing carolls and receive all kind of gifts in return. That's why in the translation I wrote "to sing carolls and to sing songs" BUT the real meaning is "to perform the custom associated to the carolls AND to sing"

* In Romania, Christmas(Crăciun) is the holiday. But Santa Clause is called Moș Crăciun. Therefore we assume that Crăciun is also a name. The name of the character who represents the holiday itself. That's how you should understand the line " Good evening, Christmas". They're not addessing the holiday, they're addressing the supernatural character who impersonates the Christmas holiday
