Maria_gr and Nardy Bernal. You are both wonders. For one thing, I have been looking for this movie since it disapppeared from the movie theaters and from everywhere else for that matter sometime in the late 60s. In 1962 it was playing at every movie theatre in New York. At IMDB, everybody in the forms is asking about it, but no one seems to know where to get it. I have the score here on a 33rpm disk (wow, does that ever date me!), and...and...at long last, I am waiting here in Japan for a copy of it to arrive in the next few days. I cannot wait to see it. Am glad that I could help a bit and also that you will get your copy of that movie, I really don't know about it (is it about the Greek Myth of Faedra?) , but I know how it feels to look for a movie or music and find nothing (big frustration), so I understand your exitement.

you guys are really remarkable--remembering that melina mercouri sang a greek song, knowing the original lyrics, knowing greek! anyway, all i know is that i've long wanted to see this movie again, and i'm surprised, given the quality of this movie, that it hadn't been transferred to vhs, then dvd.

Of course Melina sang in Greek, cause she was Greek!
