Default Solved: Late 90's On RADIO

The search for this song has been long and frustrating for me. What i can tell you about the song is that i heard it playing in a store in the late ninties and im guessing that it was on the radio. The song has lyrics but i dont remember them. I do remember that the person singing was a guy with a lower voice. The singing is very relaxed, comparable to one of the strokes mellow songs. The song is made to sound like it is being played on an old record, as you can hear the fuzz and distortion associated with a record in the background. The distinguishing feature of the song, however, is a reptitive horn sound (probably synthesized) that loops throughout the song. It is a four-note pattern that is something in the vicinity of A down to E, then up to C as a dotted quarter note(A), followed by quarter note(E) and then an eight-note(higher C). The whole thing is played on a higher octave. From what i remember, the song is more current and there is probably some type of voice mod used by the singer. Please let me know if you have ever heard anything that is even similar to the description i have just posted because it might provide some clues. Again, anything is appreciated.

Its funny how things work out some times. I finally take the initiative to actively search a song that i had been loking for for at least a decade and the same night i stumble upon it, hiding in an i-tunes one hit wonders compilations. The name of the song is "Your Woman" by White Town. I feel amazing right now and cant even believe that i found the song. Let this story serve as hope to anybody looking for song names. WOW!
