And to cross Vardar (river) water, wide Vardar water.

This a dialect from South Serbia! And it has many old terms so it's hard to translate it quikly but I tried.

Oh yea if you need more translations I'll try my best.

phrase "Od Kulina Bana" means "Since Kulin Ban's (Kulin-name, Ban-something like duke) time" and it a synonim in Serbia for something very long or when some1 talks long and is boaring you we say that he/she is talking "From Kulin Ban".

Group Kulin Ban was formed in 2005. The Goal was to bring tradicional and forgoten songs back to modern music in new way.

BTW Kulin Ban was Bosnian ruler from 1180.-1204

komitas - Macedonian highlander rebels against Ottoman invaders

I must correct this last translation in some lines. It is too much literal, so most of the real meaning is lost, first one from Kengoor_Serbia was better.

First, most important, "komitas" are not only Macedonian, but can also be Serbian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Greek and Albanian highlander rebels. This is Serbian song from War for independence from Turks, and Vranje was southern center of revolution against Ottomans, so it is specifically about Serbian komitas.
Some komitas also fought each other, it is just Balkan name for some sort of guerrilla of that time, not for an organization.

Second, in old serbian "Turk-Arnauts" refers to Albanians, they also had "komitas", but they were pro-Ottoman, and fought agains Serbian komitas.

And third, "pale face" is too literal translation, but in Serbian it refers to beauty, not to spookiness and such, as in English.

There are some other things that are out of context too, but not so important...
