A friend found a song on an old tape from a country music station. I know I've heard it before, which makes me think it's from the mid-90's or so, but we can't find out what it is. We've tried googling the lyrics, but no luck. I was hoping someone here might know it. It's sung by a woman, but I don't know who.
It goes:
"Billy was a rebel, handsome as the devil, with a smile like old James Dean. In a beat-up Eldorado, he left Colorado, chasing down his only dream."
The chorus is:
"Oh c'mon Annie, jump in and hold on tight, you've got that fire in your eyes. Oh, c'mon Annie and run away with me. We'll live on love, wild and free."
If anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it....
