I had a song a long time ago on a burned cd. Then all my **** got stollen and I never found out who sang it or what the name of the song was. Im pretty sure that ive narrowed it down to either Talib Kwali or Common. The songs about this kid and this girl and how they become friends and shes really smart and the song tells more of a short story about how they grow on each other. Then he goes to prison for a while and comes out and tries to reunite with this girl and finds out that she passed away from cancer and thats the basics of the song. Im hoping that someone out there will recognize this song and help me out. THanks
