Can anybody point me to lyrics for this song by Sofiya Rotaru (София Ротару):

Love the song, but I can't even translate the title. It's not Russian or Ukrainian??

No, it's neither Russian nor Ukrainian. The song is in Moldavian and it's called "Trust Me".

Moldavian Language is actually Romanian And Romanian is one of those five Latin Languages: Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Romanian
Actually, Romanian has a LOT of Latin influence Different sources say from 60% to 80% of Latin influence.


P.S.: The difference between the name Moldovan and Romanian (which were supposed to be considered as two different ones) are ONLY political.

Selenity, thank you so much for the English translation!!! I had struggled to translate the Russian that Panselinos offered, but a couple of phrases were very difficult for me to understand.

Now I've learned to recognized just a few small words of Romanian, I'm not surprised that Romanian and Moldavan are the same language. And this is good, because it means I can learn two languages in one
