Drago mi je

Figured I might as well say hi. I live in Colorado, but my girlfriend was born in Croatia and lived in Belgrade, Serbia for several years before becoming a refugee to the U.S. I'm desperately trying to learn her language in the little free time I have, and learning Serbian songs is one of the best ways to do it. For one thing, the lyrics are absolutely beautiful...far better than most of the American music I hear on the radio, IMHO. So I'm here to bug people for translations of songs I find, and hopefully will one day be able to become one of the translators myself so I can help those who, like me, started with a love for a woman that became a love for the language and the music.

So yeah, you'll mostly see me in the Slavic languages thread. Thanks to all the folks here willing to give their time translating songs. Just want you all to know that it's greatly appreciated.
