Default Solved: 80s ballad Walk on Water by who??

I've been trying to identify the artist who does a ballad from the early to mid 80s called "Walk on Water". The first verse lyrics start like this:

"If after all the times, You said you loved me so
would it be as much (as if?) we happened to let go..."

And the chorus goes like this:

"I would walk on water for you,
    no matter what you say
    If you..........(??)
(??)....... I would walk on water for you (oooooooo)."

    Any thoughts?
My ultimate goal is to find an mp3, but I'm not having luck because I don't know the artist.

I think it's possible the artist might even be Canadian - which might be why I can't find it.

Walk on Water by Eddie Money ??

Well if I could walk on water
And if I could find some way to prove
If I could walk on water would you believe in me
    My love is so true
(Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, etc.)

Well I'm no angel, now, I'll admit
I made a few bad moves I should regret
I hurt you once or so you said
Just one more chance is all you get
Didn't mean to do you wrong again
Worse things have been done by better men
Baby, baby, don't, don't treat me this way
I know, yes, I've got to pay now, I'm still paying

Well if I could walk on water
And if I could find some way to prove
If I could walk on water would you believe in me, my love is true
Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, oh

All along, I told you lies
To err is human, forgive is divine
Don't be a fool, don't settle the score
Cause I can't take it no more, I can't take it

Well if I could walk on water
And if I could find some way to prove
If I could walk on water would you believe in me, my love is true
Well, if I could walk on water (if I could)
Is that what I'm gonna have to do
If I could walk on water would be you believe in me, my love is so true

Do I have to walk, walk, walk on water for you
Hey baby, baby, there's a little time, let's spend it together
We'll get over what we left behind, there's our future together
    Yeah, well let's stay together

    (musical interlude)

Well, if I could walk on water
And if I could find some way to prove
If I could walk on water would you believe in me, my love is true
My love is so true, do I have to walk, oh, walk on water for you

If I had to walk, girl
If I had to walk, walk, walk
Do I have to walk on water, walk on water for you
Do I have to walk on water
Do I have to find some way to prove
Do I have to walk on water, walk on water for you
Do I have to walk on water
Do I have to find some way to prove
Yeah, yeah, walk on water, walk on water for you

    Default Solved.

I kept thinking it was Eddie Money too - but no those weren't the right lyrics. Neither were Aerosmith (which I assumed because that group had the same kind of raspy voice I remembered). You know how when something plagues you every waking (and sometimes sleeping) moment of the day and you think its *right there* but you just can't find it???? Well, I had an epiphany in the shower this morning and checked it out.....sure enough....

    ....Streetheart!!!!

On the Buried Treasure album (which of course is completely out of print now!! I can't even get it through capitol records - which was the production company).

Thank you though, for your input! And to those of you who checked out this link even if just out of interest.
