what is the song from the movie running scared title and artist heard it on the radio the other day and they just said it was from that movie and never gave me anymore details I think it is the main track from that movie

it was a male possibly a group and a rock song based on the station it was 80s or early 90s

Seems like a lot of the soundtrack is rap/hip hop - this following song is a live version of a non rap one that was also in the movie. Without more info [eg:some words from the song] it may be difficult to pinpoint the song you mean.

no thats still no it, I did figure out it was from the 1986 movie I think the song is actualy called running scared also but I still need to know who sang it and where I can hear/download it

If it is from the 1986 movie, then the song "Running Scared" is by Fee Waybill. I have no idea where you could find that, I was only able to find the soundtrack on cassette.
