... and I was hoping someone could help me with some songs

This band that sounded sorta dance-rock (think Moving Units) with a chorus that went "there was something in the air, there was something in the air" - I'd love to know who they are, if anyone can help.
I heard this song before Christmas, if that helps at all.

And a White Stripes cover of "Seven Nation Army" by an artist whose name sounds Indian (as in from India) - I just really can't remember the name of the artist.
