Easter Song?

Hi Guys

I'm not sure if this is even the right place to ask this question so please excuse me if I am in the wrong part of the site- but I am trying to identify an upbeat, contemporary quasi religious / gospel song about Easter.

Its sung by a single male vocal, with an understated production (but it does have a glorious clarinet break in the middle).

The only line i can remember (you know - the one that keeps going round in your head) is...

"and everybody loved that man so much they wanted to laugh and shout.."

Can anyone help to identify the song / artist please?

I found these lyrics and they have that same line, but it states it's a Christmas song and not Easter..

It was written and recorded by Shawn Phillips. It is on utube if you want to hear it. I can concider my Christmas a success by getting to hear it again!
