In life there are things that you go looking for, and others that come looking for you. You didn't choose them...but they arrive and after you're no longer the same. At that point there are two solutions: you can run away trying to leave them behind you or you can stop and live them. Whatever solution you'd choose it changes you....only with time you'll understand if you've made the right choice because the real things remain...the other things, instead, vanish

Hello, can anyone tell me what this Italian word is? I think it may be slang or abbreviated for texting.

It's not an italian word, it's a place in Tunisia.
"-Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity..."
"-Actually, I'm planning to threaten you."

    Translation into English please:

Hello! Could somebody please translate this story to Italian?

Who is the rich one and who is the poor one?

Once upon a time there was a very rich man, who took his son on a trip to a poor country to show him how the poor live. They have spent days and nights in a farm, where a poor family lived. On the way back from the trip, the father asked his son:
    - How was the trip?
    The son said:
    - The trip was excellent!
    The father asked:
    - Did you see how the poor live?
    The son said:
    - Yes!
    The father asked:
    - Tell me, what did you learn from this trip?
    The son said:
... I have seen that we have one dog and they have four... and we have a water pond in the middle of our garden and their brook has no ending!
... We have brought lanterns to illuminate our garden and they have the stars shining in the sky!
.... Our courtyard ends at the front of the garden and they have the extent of the horizon!
... We have a small patch to live on and they have areas beyond the fields!
... We have servants to serve us and they have each other!
... We buy food and they eat what they plant!
... We have high walls to protect us and they have friends to protect them!
The child's father was silent. Then the child added:
    - Thank you father for showing me how we are poor!

"-Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity..."
"-Actually, I'm planning to threaten you."

"Well, if you'll excuse me, I have work to do. Evil plots don't just make themselves, you know!"
