How do you say "my soulmate" in Serbian? Are srce moje and srodna dusa right?
PS: this isnt a translation, but I didnt know where to post it. What is the difference in pronounciation of these letters? Ć and Č; Dž and Đ...because I really can't find the difference :P
...life after death...
my soulmate = moja srodna dusa
moje srce = my heart
hm well Ć is as in italian ciao
Č is an english word change
Dž is as in english word join
Đ is like in italian name Giovanni
hmmm hope i helped

soulmate is srodna duša
srce moje is literally - my heart but it's actually something like 'my darling'
now Ć and Č; Dž and Đ .. don't worry about it.. many people here mix Ć and Č as well but... I will try to explain...
Č [ch] is like ch in chocolate
there is no equivalent in English for Ć but... listen to this song (I can't think of a better example right now lol )
Riblja čorba - Neću da te volim
He is singing
Neću da te volim - I don't want to love you
Neću da te volim - I don't want to love you
...
Da pijem hoću da prestanem - I want to quit drinking
tako sam naglo odlučio - that's what I suddenly decided
bilo bi najbolje da nestanem - it would be best if I stopped
jer život mi se smučio - because I'm sick of life
Dž is like English G in George and J in junk
Đ [dj] is like j in juice
I hope that helps...
PS
hehe Adrienne

thanks Spring for trying, but I guess my ear has problems lol I think I'll never get the difference, but since you said many people mix them up, I'm sort of relieved
