My brother thinks it's too repetative, what do you think?

    Miss Molly

We’ll go down to the Ozdust rockin’ and a rollin’ all night
    Keep dancing whoa keep dancing
We’ll be boogyin’ down ‘till the morning light
Don’t stop it no don’t stop it
But when we all get tired, there’s one girl that’s still fired
When the rest of us are beat, she’ll be dancing down the street
    She’s Miss Molly
Go go go go go go go

Go Miss Molly you’re shakin’ to that Baltimore beat
    Miss Molly, go Miss Molly
Go Miss Molly those are super fast dancing feet
    Miss Molly, go Miss Molly
    She can hip-hop
    Pops like a mop
    She’s Miss Molly

She’s been dancing like Tracy ever since she could walk
Tracy Turnblad, Just like Tracy Turnblad
She could play the piano before she learned to talk
    Whoa Molly! Whoa whoa Molly!
But when it comes to school
She drives the teachers up the wall
All she does is sing and dance
They say it’s not a musical
    Oh Miss Molly!

Go Miss Molly you’re shakin’ to that Baltimore beat
    Miss Molly, go Miss Molly
Go Miss Molly those are super fast dancing feet
    Miss Molly, go Miss Molly
    She can hip-hop
    Pops like a mop
    She’s Miss Molly
Go Miss Molly you’re shakin’ to that Baltimore beat
    Miss Molly, go Miss Molly
Go Miss Molly those are super fast dancing feet
    Miss Molly, go Miss Molly
    She can hip-hop
    Pops like a mop
    She’s Miss Molly

It all depends on the tune.
If people like it, they'll want it to keep on going (like Miss Molly).
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

    They're not bad but:

    1. All songs are musical
    2. What does "pops like a mop" mean?

Oh, ok... Sorry - just "it's a musical song" doesn't make much sense

Yeah OK, well pop like a mop is a dance move where you shake your hair around, like it's a mop, but yeah it doesn't quite make sense in the song, I might change it.

    You mean like the Beatles...
"...One likes to believe in the freedom of music
but glittering prizes and endless compromises shatter the illusion of integrity."

I don't actually know, I just made this song about my friend for a musical, but I haven't really got a story for the musical

It has some really good lines, like
"She could play the piano before she learned to talk"
I like that. But it is rather repetative

    i like it,
and sometimes if it has a cool message,
being repetitive is a good thing!

Yea the names are repeated alot. Love it though...great idea! Maybe use some pronouns or change it up a bit so you don't have to repeat the names so much.
