Oran Juice Jones Remake

Oran Juice Jones sung a song back in 1986 called "The Rain" or maybe, "I saw you wallking in the rain." I had heard a remake was done that featured him singing but this time, instead of singing about his girlfriend, he's singing about his daughter. Anyone ever heard of this song? If so, did he do it or is it a remake?
