Help!

Spent 4 months searching for this song, and I can't get it out of my head but I have so little to go on - please help if you can suggest anything!

Heard it on Phi Phi island in Thailand in Feb 2008 while someone did a fire performance to it.

It's a slow song sung by a female and the lyrics revolve around "i want you" and something about "when i hold you" or "i want to hold you"" or "when you hold me"....something like that, you get the gist.

it's beautiful to listen to, kind of meditative. soft and sweet.

it's driving me crazy!

Yeah I already tried that - that's definitely not the song. But the tempo is roughly the same, and the voice as I remember reminds me a bit of Massive Attack doing Teardrop.

Ok..if I'm not mistaken 'Teardrop' is sung by Liz Fraser?

It's rather difficult to search for those lyrics , there's only a few thousand songs with these words

I know - I've sorted through hundreds of results with no luck. I was kind of hoping someone might pick up what it was based on the sound of the song i.e. it actually has alot in common with "This Love" by Craig Armstrong, although it's slightly more upbeat. Anyone.....?

I'll have a look at the Cocteau Twins.....doesn't sound quite right but again, definitely on the right track. I really appreciate your help by the way!

If I don't find this song I think I'll go crazy. I doubt it's too obscure cause I heard it in Thailand among a mix of other songs and I knew all of them......
