Pierino e Lupo by Roberto benigni

Pierino e Lupo is a beautiful musical story that I heard it with voice of Roberto benigni.

I searched all over the web for its text, but I couldn't find. I ask from one of my net friends to transcript it to me. Until now he wrote two part of it and a few days later he will write the last part.

I love this story. It is a little long but I would appreciate if someone could translate it to English

Posso raccontarvi una storia?...allora c’era una volta…non è una storia normale, questa è una fiaba musicale e tutte le fiabe voi lo sapete che hanno dei personaggi, ma qui in questa fiaba ogni personaggio è rappresentato da un diverso strumento musicale. Pensate che soddisfazione!
Ora per farvi riconoscere i personaggi ogni volta che appaiono, io chiederò ai vari strumenti musicali di presentarsi a voi. Attenzione però.
Prima di tutto l’uccellino.
L’uccellino è rappresentato da un flauto.
L’anitra da oboe, state a sentire l’oboe.
Il gatto lo fa il clarinetto.
Il nonno molto severo è rappresentato dal fagotto.
Il lupo dal trecorni, eccolo che viene.
E il Pierino, l’eroe della nostra storia. Pierino è così importante che è rappresentato da tutti gli archi dell’orchestra.
Poi ci sono i cacciatori che sono meno importanti di Pierino , però sono importanti anche loro. E sono rappresentati dai rei.
Pensate un po’che anche lo sparo dei fucili ha un motivo ed è suonato dai timpani.
Oh, abbiamo fatto le rappresentazioni, ed ora immaginate la scena. Si entra dentro da stuffa. una casetta circondata da un grande giardino. Circondata a sua volta da una staccionata . Fuori dei prati c’è un grosso albero e un stagno non molto lontano da una foresta buia e misteriosa.
Una mattina di buon’ora, Pierino aprì il cancello e uscì su prato verde che circondava la sua casa.
Sul ramo di un grande albero era appollaiato un uccellino amico di Pierino. Non appena vede arrivare cinguettò allegramente:
“Va tutto tranquillo”.
Accanto a Pierino un anatra avanzò dondolandosi, era contenta che il ragazzo non avesse chiuso il cancello e decise di farsi una nuotatina nel profondo stagno in mezzo al prato.
Vedendo l’anatra, uccellino volò giù dal albero, si posò sull’erba vicino a lei al sole spalle.
“che razza di uccello sei che non sai volare?” disse.
E l’anatra replicò:
“ ma che razza di uccello sei tu che non sai nuotare, aspetta su” e si fondò allo stagno.

Il gatto pensò eccolo:
un uccello impegnato a discutere proprio sarà difficile catturarlo e mangiarlo e cominciò a strisciare verso lui sulle zampe.
Attenzione! gridò Pierino e l’uccellino volò svelto sull’albero. L’anatra fece vag vag al gatto
dal bel mezzo dello stagno.
Il gatto girava intorno dell’albero, intanto pensava:
Ma vale la pena arrampicarsi così in alto, quando sarò lassù, l’uccello sarà già volato via.
Uscì il nonno era arrabbiato perché Pierino aveva disobbedito.
Il prato è un posto pericoloso pierino se un lupo dovesse sbucare dal bosco tu cosa faresti?
Pierino non prestò attenzione alle parole del nonno, i ragazzi come lui non hanno paura dei lupi.
Ma il nonno lo prese per mano chiuse il cancello e condusse Pierino verso casa.
Pierino si era appena allontanato vide un grande lupo grigio sbucò dalla foresta.
In un parere il gatto si arrampicò sul l‘albero.
Anatra starnazzò terrorizzata stupidamente balzò sulla riva.
Prese a correre con tutte le sue forze, ma un’anatra non può essere più veloce di un lupo.
Il lupo si avvicinava sempre di più finché la raggiunse, eccolo. L’afferrò e le fece un solo boccone.
E allora ecco come stavano le cose:
Il gatto si era cucciato su un albero.
L’ uccellino appollaiato su un altro.
Non troppo vicino al gatto naturalmente.
Il lupo camminava intorno all’albero guardando con gli occhi in corti.
Intanto Pierino guardava quello che stava succedendo dal dietro il cancello e
Senza un briciolo di dubbio.
Corse in casa e prese una corda robusta e si arrampicò sul alto numero di pietra.
Uno dei rami dell’albero attorno al quale girava il lupo si protendeva oltre il muro.
afferrando il ramo Pierino riuscì a arrampicarsi,così si ritrovò subito sull’albero.
poi disse all’uccelino:
vola giù metti a sguazzare attorno al muso del lupo.
attenzione però non farti acchiappare.

I don't know how all of the instruments mentioned are called in English, I searched an online dictionary, so it is probable that in some parts they are not correct.

1st part

First of all the birdy.
The birdy is represented by the flute.

The very severe grandfather is represented by the byndle.
The wolf by the cocked hat(?), here he is.
And Pierino, the heroe of our story. Pierino is so important that he is played by all the bows* of the orchestra.
Then there are the hunters that are less important than Pierino, but they are important too.And they are played by the "rei"(no translation found). Think that also the shooting of the guns has its motive and it's played by the drums.
Oh, we made the introductions, and now immagine the scene. We enter from a stove. A small house surounded by a big garden. Which on it's turn is surrounded by a fence.


* I think it means all the instruments played with a bow(violin, cello,etc.)

The frases in italic don't make much sense in Italian.I will come back tomorrow for the rest and to check out the zip about the transcription of some parts

Attenzione! gridò Pierino e l’uccellino volò svelto sull’albero. L’anatra fece quack quack al gatto dal bel mezzo dello stagno.

Afferrando il ramo Pierino riuscì ad arrampicarsi, e così si ritrovò sull’albero.

L'uccellino quasi toccava il muso del lupo con le ali mentre questo aprendo la bocca spiccava salti fulminei cercando di azzannarlo.
Mamma mia come l'hanno fatto inferocire!
Ragazzi, come voleva afferrarlo ma l'uccellino era più molto più furbo della belva e continuava il suo gioco.
Intanto Pierino aveva fatto un bel nodo scorsoio e cautamente lo calò giù dall'albero.
Oh riuscì ad infilarlo nella coda del lupo e tirò con tutte le sue forze.
Sentendosi preso in trappola il lupo si mise a saltare furiosamente cercando di liberarsi.
Ma Pierino niente, legò l'altro capo della corda all'albero e più il lupo saltava più stringeva il nodo scorsoio.
Proprio in quel momento i cacciatori uscivano dalla foresta,seguivano le tracce del lupo e sparavano ad ogni passo.

3 part:

Smettetela di sparare, disse Pierino ancora seduto sull'albero.
L'uccellino e io abbiamo già catturato il lupo!
Aiutateci piuttosto a portarlo al giardino zoologico!
E allora, immaginatevi che marcia trionfale!
Pierino in testa, dietro i cacciatori che trascinavano il lupo.
Il nonno e il gatto chiudevano il corteo.
Il nonno scuoteva la testa e continuava a brontolare: '' E se Pierino non fosse riuscito a catturare il lupo, che sarebbe successo eh?''.
Sopra di loro volteggiava l'uccellino cinguettando allegramente: ''Però che tipi coraggiosi siamo Pierino ed io!Guardate che cosa siamo riusciti a catturare!''

E se qualcuno avesse ascoltato con attenzione, avrebbe sentito l'anatra che faceva quack! quack! quack!, nella pancia del lupo che per la fretta quello scemo l'aveva inghiottita viva.

Outside on the grass (or meadow), there's a big tree and a pool (or pond) not very far from a dark and misterious forest.

As soon as it saw him approaching it chirped cheerfully: "everything is calm".

They kept on fighting for a while,the duck was swimming in the pool and the bird jumping on the green bank of the river.
Then all of a sudden something attracted Pierino's attention,there was a cat insiduously moving forward in the meadow.
The cat thought: ''mmmmh here he is! there's a bird speaking with the others,it's so easy for me to catch him'', so he started to move softly towards him.
''Pay attention!'', Pierino said. So the bird quickly flew on the tree.

The duck, from the middle of the pool, said quack,quack,quack to the cat.
The cat was going around the tree and in the meantime he thought:''is it worth climbing up the tree? when I'll be there he may have flown away! ''
Pierino's grandfather went out, he was so angry because Pierino had disobeyed.
Pierino, the meadow is a dangerous place!if a wolf came out of the forest,what would you do?
Pierino didn't listen to his grandfather, guys like him are not afraid of wolfs.
