That's because you need to actually LISTEN to the lyrics and know the characters in their album American Idiot. They talk about a lot of different topics like drugs, loneliness, politics, a girl, etc. in that album. You just have to hear it to believe it.

greenday is the bomb

I think they were good, like with the album Dookie etc. but American Idiot, it had a good idea, and good lyrics, but it's too processed. Like the new AC/DC album. There's none of the old energy

I totally agree with you. I had my fingers crossed that they would go back to the old ways, but when I heard the phrase "power-pop" mentioned I almost cried haha

well, i dont dislike it, but i do think that their older stuff is better.

i love green day!! i love there old stuff, new stuff and the foxbro hot tubs, well mother mary anyway!! saw green day in 05 they were amaaaaaaazing!
