(I na Katerina...), a

    Default Forum Newbie

    Hi All,

This forum is a really great idea ... Thanks to all of the senior members and other contributors for given us the opportunity to actually learn

If I may start off with a simple query:

Can anybody explain what the differences are between the following sentences

That's it for my first posting.

You are welcome about the help, it's always a pleasure when we can contribute into this Thank you as well for showing interest and for joining us here:-)

Regarding your question, I will translate the sentences so that you may get the point and the difference better:-)

    1. Means: To whom this book belongs?
    2. Means: What (kind of) book is this?

So "чија" is used in order to find out to whom something belongs and the second is to ask what kind is that something (how it looks like, what is for, etc)

Hope that was helpful:-) If you need anything else feel free to ask

sizr_sistr, I think that it's 100% completed now, if I'm not mistaken Good for us

Dragica, se obiduvam da ja najdam lirikata i ja slusham pesnata povtorno, no nazalost toj zbor ne mozam da go slushnam jasno, ako najdam nekoj shto sluchajno znae shto tuka peat so sigurnost vednash kje te izvestam, no koga kje bide toa ne znam

Thanks very much for the explanation

However being a forum newbie my first post was a little inaccurate

What I should have written is:

    oops

Which book is this one/What is this book about? (informal)
The latter means that you haven't read the book and you ask about its content. It is an informal way of asking, and far more frequently used. The former...well...depending on the context. Normally, you don't ask "Која е оваа книга?" when you expect someone to explain to you what the book is about. It is more like when you've been read a paragraph of the book and you don't recognise it, so you want to be reminded from which book it is taken... when you ask for the title of the book. Gosh, I hope you get the point, it's confusing even to me. =D
Anyway, if you want to find out what the book is about, you normally ask „

If you don't get the point of this puzzling explanation of mine, just say. ;-)

    Hi Sochko,

Thanks very much for the explanation. I think my confusion may have stemmed from the grammatical description of the two terms in the text book that I was reading from.

Getting there slowly ... but better slowly than not at all

    Appreciate your help.

    фала pthalo,

Ye I have seen those links before ... however I was wondering whether there might be a site, like podbean for example that allows the downloading of different language excerpts along with a transcript of those excerpts.

    I appreciate your suggestion.

    Па, the seach continues

    Hi there.
My name is Grace & Im from Malaysia.
I joined this forum to learn about Tose Proeski's songs lyrics.
I'd like to know the English translation for his beautiful songs.
Ive heard quite a number of them in Macedonian... & although I don't understand the language, I find his voice truly unique & what more can I say about his songs. So far, these 3 are my favourites:
    1~ Igra bez granica
    2~ Ledene
    3~ Srce nije kamen

It would be so great to know the English translation.

Hello Grace! Welcome to the forum I'm glad Tose has fans even in Malaysia That's awesome! Thank you for becoming part of this forum and hope you will have fun
Since you are new and probably you don't know, so here you can see the list with Tose's songs translated in English

List of translated songs- Tose Proeski

Anyway, the list isn't final as there are many other songs that are translated after this list was made, so it is not updated recently.
Therefore you can join us in the thread dedicated to Tose and his songs and for whatever you need you can browse there or post some question, opinion, etc. Here's the link to it as well

Tose Proeski's songs- Lyrics and translations

    Hope this was helpful

    Take care, xxx
