Can anyone find the lyrics of this bulgarian song?

There's no Javanese guy in this song ;] They're actually singing "Ябанджийче" (Iyabandjiiche), which means "a foreigner; outlander", which comes from the Turkish word "yabancı", which means "foreinger". So ... this part of the song goes like this:

Ако ми е нашенчето, ще го любя ден до пладне,
- if it's a guy from our village (doesn't exactly say this, but that's the meaning ;] ), I'll love him from down 'till dusk,
ако ми е ябанджийче, ще го любя дор до живот ...
-and if it's an outlander (not from our village), I'll love him all my live.

...

And that's one of my favourite folklore songs (just in case ... if you liked the Xena song, I assume you'll like this one as well);] I don't know if eXtremnata has already posted it, but anyway ... :]

At first Solenka made a good guess about the title of the song that ive posted. the title was Kaval Sviri and u will see it in the video. This video is from Xena. And the song is adapted from kavala sviri with different lyrics. thats what i understand from the video. and it won a grammy award.

so we are back to Xena ... the mistery of the bulgarian voicese is the most famous folklore group outside of BG, every song sung by them is more than fascinating, they have won not only one award i'm happy you liked the songs i'm going to continue posting songs for you if i find ones who i think you would like

yeah this is the main theme it was very impressive when i was 14 and it still is.

the Bulgarian words (match the melody perfectly) have a much stronger expression. The English translation is watered down, it needs a fix.

Sorry to revive an old topic, but it looks as though the show uses a "modified" version of Kaval Sviri.



The melodic structure is largely intact, but the words seem different. Any help with what's being said differently from the original version?

Any help would be appreciated.
