in turkish some names can be used for both boys and girls as turkish words doesn't have a gender.

I like pre-Islamic Turkish names although they are also used by nationalistic pricks.

I like almost all ancient Greek names. I don't like religious names (of saints etc ) but I have exceptions. I love Valentina and Andrea (in Hungry and Romania as female, which I like more)

I like my name but it is hard to pronunce for foreigners and doesnt sound very nice except in Turkish. It's Göksu (skywater, but the name of some rivers)

Sofia is a female name but its equivalent "Hikmet" is a male name here

Same for "Eirini" in Greek, "Barış" in Turkey is a male name.

Murat and Ahmet are Arabic originated names. Murat also comes from Arabic "Murad" and Ahmet is from "Ahmad/Ahmed". And we have a lot of "Ali" as well. Sami is also used in Turkish, not common though.

Mehmet (Mehmed in the past) is the Turkish version of the name Mohamed although we also use the name "Muhammed".

We have Attila too, you know, right? Or spelled as Atilla like it is pronounced.
