partial lyrics:
you might not get the answer that you wanted to ?
might not be the answer that you wanted too ?
help, please?

Controlontrol Lyrics by Rob Mills
Ask me the question
You might not get the answer you wanna hear
You can predict my fortune
I will go where I want to, but not for you, my dear
Chorus:
I'm not tryin' to keep you happy
I'm not tryin' at all
If you think that I'm changin' for you
Then you're wrong
Don't you know that I'm in control
I'm in control
In conversation
You know I gotta big reputation
You wanna see
You know I like a bottle of wine
A case of beer
Everybody's breathing in each other's air
And in my style
I call the shots
And that's what I'm talking about
Chorus
Please listen to me
I'm my own worst enemy
And I'm sick and tired of breaking down
In the end you'll see
That I'm not gonna change
I'm not gonna change no
No matter what you do
No matter what you say
I'm not gonna change no
No matter what you think
I'm gonna get my way
I'm not gonna change no
No matter what you do
No matter what you say
I'm not gonna change no
No matter what you think
I'm gonna get my way
Chorus x 2
I'm in control
Don't you know
I'm in control
I'm in control
dear inconsolable89,
thank you for your response.
i really don't remember the verses, just the vague chorus, but what you sent sure has the "feel" of it...
thank you.
I have another song which has a very similar line in it's lyrics.
It is Oh Well by Fleetwood Mac from the 60s I think
The pair of lines in Oh Well goes like this,
Don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to
It's a great number with a strong bass line and a cow bell occassionally
I hope this helps
OMG... THAT'S IT!!!!
the message is EXACTLY what i needed !
THANK YOU.
i was gonna say its "Oh Well" by fleetwood mac but i totally didn't see that someone else already said that.
Oh well
"ba dum bum" :lays punchline drum::
