Learn Chinese

Last thursday I've started taking Chinese lessons at my school. So I've decided to teach to you some of the stuff that I'm learning. The only problem is that my computer doesn't have the Chinese symbols so I can only use Pinyin.

Chinese is the most spoken langauge in the world. About 1.4 billion people speak it. The would has around 5 billion people.

Either you teacher sucks or you remembered wrongly??

Sun - can also be tai yang
Tree - mu is wood! shu is tree
Mouth - can also be zhui ba
Bright - can also be liang
Forest - proper term would be shen ling
Hot - can also be ri, same pronounciation as Sun'r ri

What is your name - Also qing wen nin de ming zhe (please tell me your name)
(nin gway?? xing would be asking for surname ONLY. xing is read as sing)

Just want to clear some confusion, I am a Chinese who speak very fluent English...come to think of it my Chinese pales in compare to my English
