Portuguese and Brazilian artists

I wanna learn portuguese so I 'd like to know about some brazilian and portuguese rock bands u'll can recommend to me (with the lyrics of course <and the traslation wouldn't kill me either> I mean if u'll don't mind). I'll be a great way to star learning the language.

Hmm I really don't know much about that genre...But I work with a couple of brazilians that listen to the following artists...you can look them up and i'm sure you'll find some material on them...hopefully this is helpful! :

im tryng to learn portuguese as well! I found Pimsluer Approach quite helpful to learn. also, obvisly, Rossetta Stone. I dnt no any Brazilian Artist though.... let me no if u find anythng helpful!

Look,i didn't put only people that sings rock,but also popular singers here in Brazil.

But,if you want to use the music as an additional way of learning,I don't suggest listening to Funk because there's a lot of mispelling and some slangs that even natives don't understand. But the Funk i'm saying are the obscenes, the "proibidão" not "normal" funk like Tim Maia,Ed Motta,Buchecha.

Luxúria is a good rock band, but there are A LOT of other bands with that name, so be careful!
