I dont know if it was from th 90's, 80's or even the 70's !

I'm willing to bet that I could guess right away, But I cant get the file to play and it is pissing me off really really bad. please tell me how to make it work.

I know there will be but you wern't getting a lot of responces so I told you your whistling didn't sound like anything I've heard as I've heard a lot of music...

I did not get any "vibes" from your second attachment.

However, based on your first attachment, I'm still leaning towards the theme music from "The Rockford Files" by Mike Post. The Rockford theme and Mike's theme music from the TV show "Hill Street Blues" both received a lot of air-time on Top 40/Pop radio stations.

I heard it many times as a theme for some TV program & only once as a song!!
