Sounds like: "I'm happy hope your happy too" from David Bowie

I'm looking for a song from 1983 or 1984 that sounds like the part "I'm happy hope your happy too" from David Bowie's Ashes to ashes. It was a soft song, maybe soft soul, but I'm not sure. By the way it has nothing to do with David Bowie himself. Does anybody have any idea? I hope you can help me out, thank you very much.

I meant the music sounds that way. So far I can remember there was a backing vocal singing in that way, like the music. But the text was different.

it has that same type of tune that goes with the lyrics you typed.

it could be "My Girl" it has a bit of tune that sounds similar too!!
