Desperate for help with this line

My girlfriend heard a song in a store, and she only remembers one line. I really wanna surprise her by finding it for her.

Here's what she picked up.

Its a girl "rapping" out these words and sounds a bit like gwen stefani, may be a pop song or something..


The phrases she picked up was..

"Pay my taxes"

Or

"Pay your taxes"

She cannot remember wich one it was, but the girl "rapped" it ala gewn stefani style, reminded of her.

Anyone knows wich one this could be? I ewould be so glad if you found it for me! =) Hard one i know, but please try

the song could be... "inner city blues" ... originally by marvin gaye.

Other suggestions? She should sound somewhat like gwen stefani, a bit cocky i guess. It should sound somewhat like a studiprecording of a modern popsong?

She sort of repeated that phrase to a bit cocky as i said. Was rapping it but not sounding like a rapper, more like gwen stefani.

Its suppsoded to be a popsong, maybe alternative pop, maybe a club tune.

Maybe somelike the sound of nikki costa and gwen, god this is bugging me.

She might be repeating in "pay my taxes" or "pay your taxes" a few times, cant remember, but she "raps" it, and sounds cocky =)

Not live guitars and stuff, more "computer produced" if you know what i mean.
