Country song, slow, not too sure what lyrics are word for word......but have a rough Idea please if anyone can help it would be so awesome......

its roughly about a man who sings about his daughter, when she is first born, shes crying and his wife says this will pass, and then the daughter goes to school and she grabs her daddies lag and the teacher says this will pass,...basically its the father lying beside is daugther as she sleeps and he dreams of her growing up and him learning to let go....gosh I hope someone can help me, sorry this is all I got from the song.
