El uso:
“kán” en presente simple no se usa para expresar realidades o situaciones actuales como en estas frases: “Soy egipcia”, “Eres alta”, “Estoy en casa”, ¿Están allá?…etc., como en español, inglés, francés…etc., ya que en estas situaciones te basta mencionar el sujeto + el adj. O la frase que sea directamente sin mencionar el verbo “kán”.
¿Cuándo se usa, entonces?
Se usa cuando hablamos de una situación que se repite casi siempre o es un costumbre.
Ejemplos:
-Amál anda libre por la noche. أمال بتكون/بتبقى فاضية بالليل.
Amál betkún/beteb2a fádia bel-lél.
-Cuando estoy libre, veo televisión. لما بكون فاضية بتفرج على التليفزيون.
Lamma bakún fadia batfarrag 3ala et-telifezión.
-El imán está en la mezquita antes de la oración.الإمام بيكون في المسجد قبل الصلاة.
El emám beikún fel masgued abl es-salah.
-Los alumnos están en la escuela por la mañana. التلاميذ بيكونوا في المدرسة الصبح.
Et-talamíz beikúnu fel madrasah es-sob7.
-Cuando Amíra se despierta, su hija está estudiando.لما أميرة بتصحى بنتها بتكون بتذاكر.
Lamma Amíra btes7a bentaha betkún betzáker.
B-El imperativo: الأمر

*3ali es nervioso.
*Salma está en la escuela ahora.
b-*Soy de México.
*3’ádah w Rania están jugando juntas.
*¿Qué haces cuando estás triste?
c-*Las niñas están en el jardín.
*¿Estás allí cada día?
