Solved: old christmas song

i am trying to find an old christmas song from my childhood but i can only remember 1 line. "Thats the reason why because i wrote a letter to santa clause" it was on the reverse side of rudolph the red nose reindeer on 78" i think it was sung by a child can any-one help me , it's driving me nuts! Cheers.
