Okay, so I'm trying to find two different songs. Both I heard on the radio, only once. One was back in October, the other was longer ago.

The first is a country, or country pop song, sort of dixie chicks sounding, song by a woman. The chorus began with "something is wrong" or "something's not right" or "it feels wrong" (no, it's not Lianne Rimes). It had a very interesting chord progression, and it think it had to be from 1995 or later.

The second is a reggae song I heard on XM last summer. It was an older song, probably from the 60s 70s or 80s, and the final line of the chorus is "shall prosper".

I don't know if anyone can help me with these songs, but if so, I'd be extremely grateful.

For the first song, we are going to need you to narrow it down a bit. Similar phrases are in about half of all C&W songs. In the meantime, try "Wrong" by Betty.

The second song will be tough to find since many reggae artists quote Biblical scriptures in their lyrics, like "But no weapon formed against us shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17). Try "Small Axe" by Bob Marley.
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

Alright, thanks for the Betty tip, but I've so far been unable to find lyrics, or a file of the song to check it for similarity.

As far as the reggae song, I know small axe, and that's not it, but good thought. I remembered another line in the song "...back to where they came from". Maybe that will clear things up a bit.

    Thanks for the help!

All I got is more wild guesses:

    "Ground Breaking Ceremony" by Himsa

    "No Weapon" by Fred Hammond

For the first song, try "When Something Is Wrong With My Baby" by Linda Ronstadt (or the Patti LaBelle/Travis Tritt duet of the same song).
