Barely heard it in the mall so my lyrics may be a bit off. Female singer, uptempo song with a strong rhythm guitar. Lyrics? "It's not every day a girl can rest easy, sun on her shoulders, wind at her back. Even if you just have a guess, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

if you said late 70's california surf, i'd say or search Belinda Carlisle or The Go-Go's and other less known west coast bands for that period.
