Default Need some help finding a song

Ok so the song has a female singer (I am not sure if the artist is a female singer alone or a band that has a female singer as its front'man', though I think it is the latter) I seem to remember stringed instruments (a guitar, an upright bass) and the only line a remember in the song is "and i said who who who who". The word could also be oh or ooh, it just sounds most like who in my head when i remember the song. The singer has brown hair, is not super skinny and there are puppets in the music video (I think). The song also has kind of a bluegrass feel and if I remember correctly it is as many as 10 years old, could be more, could be less. I believe it was popular at the time of its release (I believe I saw it on MTV though I wouldn't say it fits with most of the other songs played on MTV)

Well I realize that I have been extremely vague but if anyone can figure it out from the info I gave I would be very appreciative.

Try "Who Loves Ya Baby?" by Debbie Gibson from her 1989 "Electric Youth" album.

    I said who, who, who
    (Who loves ya baby?)
    Who loves ya baby?
    Who, who, who
    (You're treated right)
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title
